New! Summer 2008/09 accommodation rates and bookings Waiheke Island’s Tahatai Retreat is situated in popular Oneroa, a 35 minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland. A great place to get away from it all. The venue has been designed with ‘small’ and affordable in mind. It is an established centre that has been purpose built for work meetings, training and personal time away. We can accommodate 8 people each in their own room or 12 in shared rooms. We can also provide wholesome “Country Kitchen” style meals (special food requirements can be met). Over the holiday period (Christmas, Easter, etc) our houses are let for holiday accommodation. There are three houses sharing 1 1/2 acres of garden, the main house which has one conference room, a library, one bedroom and the office, The Cottage and The Greenhouse. Courtyards, decks and lawns provide for outdoor work and relaxation.

We are a ten minute walk away from Oneroa village and safe beaches. Bush walks, wine tours, kayaking, horse riding or golf are other activities available on the island.
